Ruby M. Schultz, 88, died Sunday (July 31, 1988) at the Gothenburg hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1900, at Cheyenne, Wyo., to Gustaf and Lillian Westfall Johnson. She was raised in the Eustis area and moved to Farnam in 1931 where she had since resided.

She married Ferdinand Schultz on May 21, 1921, at Eustis. She was a member of the Farnam United Methodist Church and past member of the Farnam Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include two sons, Jack and wife Mell of Farnam and Richard and wife Ruth Ann of Brock; a brother, Jesse Johnson of Bend, Ore.; two half-sisters, Vivian Watkins of Arlington, Wash., and Marlene Spence of Bellingham, Wash.; two half-brothers, Vernon Johnson and Vernal Johnson, both of Barrington, Wash.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Mrs. Schultz was preceded in death by her husband in 1973 and two brothers, Pearle and Richie.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. James McChesney presiding. Burial will be in the Farnam Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to the church.
