Obituary

Raswell Wallace Reynolds was born at Alabama Center, N.Y. May 27, 1850, where he grew to manhood. He passed away at his home in Farnam, Nebr., Jan. 27, 1933, at the age of 82 years, 8 months.

He united in marriage to Barbara Eckstein July 23, 1871. To this union three children were born. One son, Austin passing away at the age of three years. The surviving are, besides his wife, one son, Clifford of Farnam, one daughter, Ella Anderton, of Edgar, Nebr., and one step-daughter, Mrs. Roy Boyle of Cozad, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren and many friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds moved from New York to Iroquois county, Illinois, 1879. In 1885 they moved to Edgar, Nebraska and in 1892 came to Farnam, which has been their home since. Mr. Reynolds was one of the early settlers, and spent his active life in farming. Having been a resident of this community for forty years, he will be greatly missed by his many friends as well as his family.

Funeral services were held from the home at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. C. R. Tanner officiating. Interment was made in the Farnam cemetery.
