The community was saddened Tuesday morning to hear of the sudden death of little Elaine Peterson, the two year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Peterson, who live northwest of Farnam. She had been suffering with rheumatic fever, but was thought to be much improved the day preceding her death. Tuesday morning her condition became much worse and she passed away about ten o’clock, before the doctor could get there.

Funeral services will be held today (Thursday, May 14) at 10:00 at the home and at 11:00 in the Catholic church. Burial will be made in the Farnam cemetery.
