Obituary Collection

George B. Dryden

In the passing of George B. Dryden, Farnam loses one of her oldest and most highly respected citizens.

Mr. Dryden was among the earliest pioneers who came to this vicinity, settling on a homestead southeast of town, moving into Farnam only a few years ago.

Mr. Dryden has been in ill health for some time, and went to Omaha, a couple weeks ago, where he submitted to an operation last Thursday and passed away Sunday afternoon.

Funeral services are being held this morning from the home with Rev. W. W. Crabtree, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. The obituary will appear next week.

We extend our tenderest sympathy to the loved ones who have lost. May comfort in your sorrow, be found in “He, who doeth all things well.”
