Mr. Beye and his family moved to Frontier county in the fall of 1899 and settled on a farm south of town where they made their home until about eight years ago when they moved to Farnam and where they have since made their home.

Mr. Beye was a good neighbor and a kind and loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Herman and Arthur, two grandchildren, four brothers, one sister and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Geo. Seick from the M. E. church Wednesday at 2: p.m. and interment was made in the Farnam cemetery.

A precious one from us had gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled;
God in His wisdom has recalled,
The boon His love has given;
And though his body slumbers here,
The soul is save in Heaven.
